Valley Home Fellowship Group - We're Sociable!

Hiking Mt. Hunger, VHFG Retreat 2005

While were are not a social society, our common traits - a love of Jesus and our 20 or 30 something stage in life means that bible study members often become fast friends; and by extension, we often wind up having a great time together in a variety of non-bible study pursuits.

The Outdoors

Members have often organized hiking and backpacking trips throughout Vermont and New Hampshire. These trips have also provided great outreach opportunities as we also enjoy the company of our non-Christian friends. In the summer, we have also managed to get out for short afternoon canoeing, kayaking, and swimming endeavors on the Conneticut river.

The Great Indoors

This side of an expedition (they are not for everyone after all!) dinner events, meeting for coffee, and weekend trips to Montreal and Boston are also common to the group. Enjoyably, many in the group try to put the fun in fundamental.

Get To Know Us

Even if you are not a Christian, feel free to subscribe to our mailing list (contact - http://www.vhfg.org/contact.html), come along to the Crossroads (http://www.vhfg.org/crossroads.html) events and get to know us. By being subscribed you will also be able to learn about the random social events that are sent out through the group mailing list. If an event is something that sounds fun (we know how quiet it can be around here as a young professional or as a graduate student), send us an email; we would love to include you.
