Toenail Fungus Remedy – Bleach Your Nail But Awareness Of Safety Is Essential

Bleach is an oxidizing solution often used to whiten dirty and stained clothes. It is also applied as a toenail fungus remedy, and is said to have relieved more than enough people of their fungal dilemma. First and foremost to remember, bleach is a caustic or acidic solution; for those with sensitive skin, it’s not an advisable treatment. Test your skin first before applying it as a solution since you have to use it for a few months. Bleach toenail fungus remedy must be used consistently or the fungus will come back and all efforts will become useless.

There are two ways of using the alternative toenail fungus remedy, diluted in water or directly applied on the infected nail. The first method is soaking the nail in a solution with a ratio of 1 tablespoon bleach with 1 gallon of water; keep in for 15 to 30 minutes; used twice a day for a few months until the nail is clear of the infection. Direct application requires a dropper, Q-tip or cotton ball to spread the undiluted bleaching solution on the nail. Keep the solution on nail for 15 minutes, and then wash off. It is important to note that whatever method you use, after the treatment, thorough rinsing with soap and water is fundamental because of the irritants present. Dry the nail and if wished, apply a second fungal cure like essential oils.

As said before, consistency in application of the toenail fungus remedy is a must since fungus will not be purged in one or two treatments, and if used intermittently the fungus may grow or return back before the next time you apply it; rendering the solution as ineffective or useless. Be aware that bleach can cause irritant contact dermatitis, with regular use, skin may be injured and have not enough time to repair the damages. There are other alternative remedies available that will not damage skin but as effective as the bleach.

Does Tea Tree Oil and soaking your feet in bleach really work for toenail fungus?

I can’t believe I’m asking this because I see all the rude comments that people leave to these types of questions, but I’m a very young female and I already have toenail fungus on 4 of my toes. For the past 2 weeks I’ve been soaking my feet in part bleach, water and soap and then putting tea tree oil on them twice a day and Myoxcide once a day. Has anyone had any luck with this sort of thing?? Or any suggestions?!?

You’re doing too much! Please get your feet out of the bleach, in the long run it can damage your skin. Either just treat your feet with the tea-tree or the myoxcide, but not both. If you overload your skin with all the treatments your body will keep sending out new bacteria to try and fight all the mixed chemicals and they’ll never recover. Make sure you keep your feet as cool and dry as possible – don’t wear trainers/sneakers as they soften the feet and make you sweat more. Try the prescribed/pharmacy treatment on its own for a few weeks and see what happens.
